## Title: Registrar – Koforidua Technical University

About Koforidua Technical University

Koforidua Technical University (KTU) was established by an Act of Parliament, Act 922 (2016) and amended by Act 974 (2018). The University serves a student population of 8,500 and employs 651 staff members.

Vision: To be a provider of standard science and technology education, a center of excellence in applied research, and a reference point for solutions to community problems.

Position Overview

The Registrar serves as the Chief Operating Officer under the Vice-Chancellor and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the University. The Registrar acts as the Secretary to Council and all other Boards and Statutory Committees of the University.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic advice and briefings to the Vice-Chancellor
  • Provide leadership and management across administrative activities in the University
  • Serve as Secretary to Council and all Boards and Statutory Committees
  • Oversee day-to-day university operations

Qualifications & Experience Required

  • Master's degree, preferably in Administration, Management, or related fields of study
  • Previous experience as a Registrar or Deputy Registrar in a University, or equivalent senior administrative position
