Position Overview
Job Title: Ghana Shea Landscape Emission Reduction Project (GSLERP) Project Officer
Reports To: Ghana Country Programme Manager
Duty Station: Yendi (with working scope in Gusheigu Municipality and Mion District)
Contract Duration: One year, renewable subject to funding availability and demonstrated performance
Employment Type: Full-Time
Overall Aim
To lead TREE AID's project implementation in the Northern Region of Ghana, working with partners and stakeholders to implement activities on time and within budget while ensuring expected impacts for targeted communities through effective monitoring and reporting.
Key Objectives
- Guide and support communities in the implementation, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation of projects
- Support the development of TREE AID Ghana's wider programme
- Conduct project monitoring and evaluation
- Perform other duties as assigned
Main Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day field implementation of project activities
- Guide and support communities on project implementation, reporting, monitoring, and evaluation
- Lead TREE AID's initiatives in working with stakeholders to increase project impacts
- Coordinate efforts ensuring continuous availability of natural resources upon which rural enterprises rely
- Mobilize community participation and engagement
