ActionAid Ghana (AAG), an Affiliate of ActionAid, is recruiting an experienced and self-motivated individual to join our team as a Programme Officer.

Role Overview

As a Programme Officer, you will play a key role in advancing ActionAid's mission by:

• Deepening partners' and communities' understanding and appreciation of the operationalization of the Country Strategy Paper (CSP)
• Building and sustaining partnership and networking relationships with key stakeholders to influence policies and practices
• Strengthening the capacity of rights holder organizations to engage government and local authorities on the Region's mission objectives
• Monitoring partners' programmes and relationships to ensure compliance with ActionAid quality programming mix and financial management procedures
• Conducting regular visits to rights holders and their communities to document identified changes
• Submitting reports on activities undertaken to meet CSP objectives

Required Qualifications and Experience

• First degree in a relevant field
• Minimum two (2) years of working experience

Job Details

Location: Wa, Upper West Region, Ghana

Employment Type: Full-time

Contract: Three (3) year renewable employment contract on national terms and conditions

Salary: SM2 of ActionAid Ghana's Salary Structure
