Procurement Officer at Garden City University College (GCUC)

About the Position

Garden City University College (GCUC), located in Kenyase-Kumasi, is seeking a Procurement Officer to join our institution. This is a senior staff position reporting directly to the Registrar of the University College.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day procurement activities
• Ensure the University College's compliance with procurement laws, regulations, and best practices
• Oversee the procurement of goods and services
• Maintain high levels of professionalism in all duties and responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Degree, HND, or Diploma in Procurement, Purchasing and Supplies, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field with proven specialization in procurement
• Minimum of two (2) years of work experience in a procurement department of a reputable institution
• Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
• High level of integrity, honesty, and sense of responsibility
• Registration with appropriate professional bodies (preferred)
