About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our team in Accra, Ghana. This is a full-time position within our Logistics/Transportation division, offering an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in procurement and general administration.
Job Description
This role combines general office administration with specialized procurement support tasks. You will perform skilled administrative and operational duties to support our procurement operations, working with well-defined processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide dedicated administrative and secretarial support to procurement teams and senior leaders
- Execute highly specific procurement-related tasks with clear procedures and readily available instructions
- Perform general office administration and clerical support activities
- Support office operations including reception, telephone management, and filing
- Assist with office event planning and facilities coordination as needed
- Work on routine tasks while learning new processes through short explanations and simple instructions
About You
- Entry-level or minimal prior work experience in the functional area
- Able to perform well-defined tasks under close supervision
- Willingness to follow established processes and procedures
- Strong organizational and clerical skills
- Reliable and detail-oriented approach to work
