Newmont Mining Corporation is seeking a Process Metallurgist to provide technical support for the Akyem operation. This role will entail the preparation and analysis of metallurgical processes to optimize gold extraction and operational efficiency.

About Our Africa Operations

Newmont's Africa Operations manages two gold mining operations in Ghana:

• Ahafo Mine located in the Brong-Ahafo region
• Akyem Mine located in the Eastern region

Africa operations employ approximately 5,900 employees and contractors, with the majority working at the Ahafo Mine. The region also focuses on near-mine exploration and development to annually replace gold reserves, along with early-stage exploration programs in Ethiopia and Morocco.
