## Title: Principal Officer, Research Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
Job Purpose
To provide technical and operational support in research for the achievement of the organization's mandate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide inputs for the formulation of organizational policies
- Supervise the analysis of research data
- Supervise the preparation of draft research reports
- Supervise the dissemination of research reports
- Supervise the collation of data for the preparation of guidelines, procedures, and processes in programme and activity implementation
- Supervise the collation of data for the development of performance indicators for monitoring purposes
- Supervise the analysis of monitoring data
- Supervise the collation of data for the preparation of strategic, medium-term, and annual organizational plans
- Supervise the evaluation of analysis results
- Supervise the preparation of draft monitoring and evaluation reports
- Ensure the effective and efficient maintenance of a comprehensive database on unit programmes and activities
- Supervise the preparation of annual work plans for the unit
- Collate data for the preparation of the unit budget
- Supervise the collation of data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports
- Supervise and appraise the performance of subordinate staff
- Collaborate closely with other officers
