Position Overview
The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Pool Maintenance Officer within the Sports Directorate. This is a full-time role responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the University of Ghana Swimming Pool.
Key Responsibilities
- Testing, balancing, and application of swimming pool chemicals to pool water
- Operating the filtration system
- Treating and vacuuming the swimming pool
- Cleaning and general maintenance of pool facilities
Required Qualifications & Experience
The successful applicant must have:
- SSCE/WASSCE/JHS Certificate
- Valid Lifeguard Certificate from a recognised institution
- Knowledge of various swimming pool chemicals and their application processes
- Minimum of 2 years of working experience in pool maintenance
