Pool Maintenance Officer at University of Ghana

Position Overview

The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Pool Maintenance Officer within the Sports Directorate. This is a full-time role responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and operation of the University of Ghana Swimming Pool.

Key Responsibilities

• Testing, balancing, and application of swimming pool chemicals to pool water
• Operating the filtration system
• Treating and vacuuming the swimming pool
• Cleaning and general maintenance of pool facilities

Required Qualifications & Experience

The successful applicant must have:

• SSCE/WASSCE/JHS Certificate
• Valid Lifeguard Certificate from a recognised institution
• Knowledge of various swimming pool chemicals and their application processes
• Minimum of 2 years of working experience in pool maintenance
