PC/Network Coordinator at Mantrac Ghana LTD

About the Role

Mantrac Ghana LTD is seeking a PC/Network Coordinator to join our IT team in Accra, Ghana. This is a full-time position responsible for managing and supporting our network infrastructure, systems, and end-user support across multiple locations.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide technical support for Cisco Systems infrastructure
• Configure Cisco routing, switching, and telephony systems
• Manage Windows networking environments and Active Directory administration
• Administer DHCP and DNS servers
• Manage ITSM with ITIL frameworks
• Interact with users to identify and resolve system needs
• Maintain data centers and network racks
• Track and maintain records of outstanding system-related issues
• Conduct monthly datacenter backups and maintain comprehensive records
• Prepare application documentation for auditing purposes
• Provide network support to users at remote sites

Required Knowledge and Skills

• Cisco Networking – Routing and Switching
• Windows Networking – TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
• Installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of database-driven applications in network environments
• System performance and monitoring tools
• Access control and permissions management in multi-tier application environments
• ITSM and ITIL practices
• WAN/LAN performance monitoring tools (ping, tracert, etc.)
• Reporting tools including Excel, Crystal Reports, and MS Access
• Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems in multinational organizations

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or closely related field
• Cisco certification with at least 2 years of hands-on experience with routing and switching technologies
• 3+ years of progressively responsible experience with Cisco networking
• Demonstrated competency in networking systems implementation, post-deployment support, and technical documentation
• 3+ years of consistent experience designing and administering network infrastructure
