## Title: Administrative Officer
Job Purpose
To provide operational support in the management of material resources for the achievement of the organization's mandate.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise the collection of data for the development and review of guidelines, processes, and procedures for organizational resource management
- Facilitate the effective and efficient management of material resources
- Collate data for the development of appropriate guidelines and procedures relating to requisition, receiving, storage, payment of goods and services, and disposal of obsolete assets
- Facilitate the organization of meetings, seminars, workshops, and conferences
- Collaborate closely with officers, departments, and other stakeholders in the implementation of departmental programmes and activities
- Collate and maintain comprehensive data and databases for departmental programmes and activities
- Supervise data entry activities for the department
- Supervise the collection of data for the development of annual work plans
- Supervise the collection and preparation of departmental budgets
- Supervise the collection of data for the preparation of annual and periodic reports
- Supervise and appraise the performance of subordinate staff
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Master's Degree from a recognized tertiary institution in social sciences or a relevant field
- Minimum of 4 years post-qualification relevant work experience in a reputable institution
- Must pass a competitive selection interview
