About the Role

We are seeking a competent and proactive Marketing/Procurement Officer to support our operations in Ghana. The ideal candidate will design and implement complex industrial, commercial, and domestic procurement systems, including product specifications, sourcing, and ordering both locally and externally.

Role Requirements

• Licensed professional marketing/procurement officer
• Extensive experience in marketing/procurement operations

Key Responsibilities

• Perform product estimation, pricing, documentation, and timescale management
• Manage the purchase of products and services for the organization
• Ensure high quality of all products and services, regardless of price considerations
• Maintain accurate records of all purchases and pricing
• Manage product and service inventories within the organization
• Keep up-to-date inventory records and ensure accurate tracking of purchased items
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to meet client requests and targets in collaboration with the General Manager
• Maintain comprehensive supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, potential for development, and product details
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to negotiate the best deals for the company
• Maintain positive, professional relationships with all suppliers
• Analyze supplier price proposals and company financial reports before negotiating optimal pricing
• Monitor contract compliance to ensure vendors fulfill their contractual obligations
• Make necessary adjustments to existing contracts as required
