Manager, Information & Cyber Security Risk at MTN Ghana

About the Role

The Manager, Information & Cyber Security Risk is responsible for establishing and implementing adaptable Information Security & Cyber Risk Management standards, frameworks, and solutions for the Operating Company in line with Group frameworks, policies, and procedures. This role responds to current and future Information Security Risk Management landscapes while ensuring effective identification, protection, detection, response, and recovery across all potential security risk exposures.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and implement Information Security & Cyber Risk Management standards, frameworks, and solutions aligned with Group policies and procedures
• Identify, protect, detect, respond to, and recover from all variations of potential security risk exposures—both internal and external (Strategic, Operational, Compliance, Liquidity, Product and Market, Political, Economic, and Reputation)
• Introduce defensive safeguards and monitor their performance against security threats
• Ensure business units take ownership of security risk management to safeguard MTN Ghana's information assets and stakeholder interests
• Identify and manage all threats to the achievement of strategic objectives
• Identify, defend against, detect, respond to, and support recovery from Information Security risks using business intelligence to maximize business impact
• Manage customer and supplier expectations regarding security matters
• Enhance the Operating Company and MTN's reputational position as a leading network provider
