About Our Africa Operations

Newmont's Africa Operations manages two gold mining operations in Ghana:

• Ahafo Mine (located in the Brong-Ahafo region)
• Akyem Mine (located in the Eastern region)

The operations also conduct near-mine exploration and development activities in Ghana, as well as early-stage exploration programs in Ethiopia and Morocco. Africa operations employ approximately 5,900 employees and contractors, with the majority working at the Ahafo Mine.

Both mines have made significant sustainable community development investments, establishing Development Funds that contribute US$1 per ounce of gold sold and 1% of net pre-tax annual profit annually to community development initiatives.

Position Overview

As a Maintenance Parts Coordinator, you will be accountable for maintaining and controlling maintenance spare parts for the site, including day-to-day operations such as stock availability management.
