Logistics Director at KPMG Ghana

About the Role

KPMG is recruiting on behalf of a client—an industrial manufacturing company—to fill the position of Logistics Director. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the company's logistics function.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the cost-effective and sustainable flow of raw materials, spare parts, supplies, and services from their source
• Work closely with all key internal and external stakeholders to optimize the company's supply chain
• Ensure timely acquisition of goods, services, and works in a cost-effective manner
• Maintain compliance with approved policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or MBA/Master's degree in a related field
• Professional qualification in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (MCIPS) or equivalent from an accredited body

Required Experience

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant working experience in supply chain management and related activities
• At least 3-4 years in a senior managerial role from a heavy manufacturing industry or equivalent industrial organization
