You will be responsible for planning the menu and ensuring each dish is nutritious and cost-effective. To ensure success in your role as a chef, you should have great organizational skills and impeccable time management. Position Overview: Job Title: Chef Key Responsibilities: 1. A strong understanding of nutrition 2. Planning the menu, keeping in mind budget and availability of seasonal ingredients 3. Proven culinary experience 4. Sound knowledge of different cuisines as well as food health. 5. Requisition stock, supplies, materials or equipment 6. Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner 7. Ability to read recipes Requirements: 1. Trained by a recognised institution 2. 3 years or more working experience 3. Expert multitasking skills 4. Passion and pride for delighting people with food 5. Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment 6.
