Role Overview

The Internal Audit Manager is a senior management position responsible for supporting ActionAid Ghana in establishing and maintaining effective and efficient internal control systems. This role safeguards organizational assets and ensures optimal use of resources to achieve organizational goals.

The post holder will work in close consultation with the ActionAid International Internal Audit Team to ensure effective compliance with Federation requirements and accountability mechanisms.

Job Purpose

The internal audit function provides independent, objective assurance and advisory activity designed to create and protect value. This role supports ActionAid's efforts to achieve its objectives by systematically evaluating and improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.

Specifically, the post holder will support the country programme independently to establish and maintain effective and efficient internal control systems that safeguard organizational assets and values while ensuring optimal use of resources to achieve organizational goals. The position also ensures effective compliance with Federation requirements and accountability mechanisms through close consultation with the ActionAid International Internal Audit Team.
