About the Role

We are hiring an experienced Human Resources Manager to join the founding team of a prestigious new four-star hotel opening soon in Tema, Ghana. This is a key position for someone passionate about excellence who thrives in high-performance environments and has a proven track record in hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local labor regulations, including Ghana Labour Act 651
• Manage employee relations and promote cross-cultural team integration
• Rapidly establish and scale recruitment systems to meet pre-opening and expansion needs

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Fluent in English
• 5+ years of HR experience in hotels across Africa or other emerging markets
• Familiarity with Opera HR systems
• In-depth knowledge of Ghanaian social security, taxation, and union negotiation processes (preferred)

Desired Traits

• Proficiency in French or local languages (Twi, Ga) is a plus
• Strong stress management and adaptability to high staff turnover
• High cultural sensitivity in managing both local and expatriate teams
