Job Summary
The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for developing, leading, contributing to, implementing, and advising on various initiatives that align with the organization's culture and values. The incumbent will serve as a subject matter expert for managing functional human resources areas and provide guidance and counseling to staff while ensuring the growth, development, and well-being of team members.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Provide guidance to line managers and supervisors on crafting job descriptions for employees and scope of work for consultants
- Collaborate with line managers and supervisors on recruitment of vacancies and new roles within the organization
- Support the General Manager-Commercial on recruitment of consultants for organization programs
- Manage new employee orientation and onboarding processes through to confirmation
- Manage the offboarding process for employee separations while ensuring positive experiences
- Apply knowledge of local and applicable international labor laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance with legal requirements
Performance Management
- Support the General Manager-Commercial in managing bi-annual staff performance review processes
- Monitor the performance management process to ensure effectiveness for staff growth and development
- Collaborate with line managers and supervisors to implement performance management plans set by the organization
