Position Overview

A Reputable Financial Institution in the Eastern Region is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Human Resources Officer with a commitment to innovation and excellence. The successful candidate will supervise the human capital of the organization, ensuring effective recruitment, talent management, employee relations, and compliance with relevant legislation while upholding the institution's vision, corporate objectives, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures consistent with the Labour Act 2003 (Act 651), ARB Apex Bank regulations (LI 1825, 2006), and other relevant legislations
• Ensure effective and consistent implementation of policies, Board decisions, and strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with departmental heads to identify staffing needs, participate in the selection process, and conduct comprehensive pre-employment checks
• Develop manpower planning strategies and ensure equitable resource allocation across the organization
• Manage employee industrial relations and foster a harmonious working environment
• Maintain and update staff records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection requirements
• Address performance-related issues and facilitate performance improvement processes
• Oversee the administration of employee benefit programmes and work with benefit providers to ensure competitive and cost-effective packages
• Ensure ongoing compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Perform other official duties as assigned
