Position Overview
The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Manager in the effective management of the Bank's human capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment and selection activities including advertising vacancies, receiving applications, and arranging interviews
- Prepare appointment letters, maintain staff records, and update the HR database
- Manage leave schedules, staff welfare programs, and employee engagement initiatives
- Support performance appraisal activities and track performance documentation
- Facilitate staff training and development activities and maintain training records
- Ensure compliance with HR policies, labour laws, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare HR correspondence, reports, memos, and other administrative documents
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management Studies, or a related discipline
- At least 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within the financial sector
- Strong understanding of Ghana Labour Laws and HR practices
- Strong computer literacy skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR certification, MBA, MA, or MSc.
