Position Summary
The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Manager in the effective management of the Bank's human capital.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will assist the Human Resources Manager with:
- Coordinating recruitment and selection activities, including advertising vacancies, receiving applications, and arranging interviews
- Preparing appointment letters, maintaining staff records, and updating the HR database
- Managing leave schedules, staff welfare programs, and employee engagement initiatives
- Supporting performance appraisal activities and tracking performance documentation
- Facilitating staff training and development activities and maintaining training records
- Ensuring compliance with HR policies, labour laws, and regulatory requirements
- Preparing HR correspondence, reports, memos, and other administrative documents
- Performing other related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Management Studies, or a related discipline
- At least 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within the financial sector
- Good understanding of Ghana Labour Laws and HR practices
- Strong computer skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional qualification in HR, MBA, MA, or MSc.
