Head of Legal at Reputable Financial Institution

About the Role

A reputable financial institution is seeking a qualified, dynamic, and results-oriented Head of Legal to join its growing team. The successful candidate will contribute to the institution's mission of providing exceptional financial services and strengthening operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all legal affairs of the institution and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Draft, review, and approve contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Advise management and the board on legal risks and corporate governance
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel
• Develop and implement legal policies and frameworks

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM)
• 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the financial sector
• 5+ years in a Senior Management role
• Strong knowledge of financial, corporate, and regulatory laws
• Excellent analytical, advisory, and communication skills
