General Manager, Treasury & Investor Relations at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

The General Manager, Treasury & Investor Relations is responsible for managing the Treasury & Investor Relations functions at MTN Ghana. This role provides leadership in directing and overseeing relations between investors and management, developing and maintaining positive relationships with shareholders, the financial community, and MTN Group, while monitoring and managing MTN's bank relationships, liquidity management, and associated risks.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Operations

• Provide leadership and direction for Treasury operations and the Investor Relations function in alignment with MTN Group policies
• Direct crisis management by minimizing threats to the company and its shareholders
• Share stakeholder input with MTN Leadership within MTN Ghana and MTN Group

Investor Relations

• Lead the preparation of reports, presentations, and financial models for internal purposes and shareholder meetings and events
• Lead investor relations communication across multiple channels and collaborate with Corporate Services and Company Secretariat to ensure appropriate external communications
• Maintain the investor relations section on the company website with information including stock prices, financial reports, and press releases
• Oversee the development of materials for Stock Exchange announcements, conference call scripts, Q&As, and presentations for quarterly, interim, and year-end reports in partnership with the Company Secretary
• Identify networking and other opportunities for investors to support the creation of new initiatives
• Manage relationships with equity, debt, and multilateral agencies

Treasury

• Monitor and manage MTN's bank relationships and liquidity management
• Manage related risks and risk management activities

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure compliance with reporting laws that regulate the financial industry
