## Title: Finance Officer

About the Role

The National Association of Local Authorities of Ghana (NALAG) is seeking a Finance Officer to join our team in Accra. This is a full-time position in our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly partner financial reporting
  • Prepare monthly bank and cash reconciliations
  • Process partner advance requests
  • Support programmes team with activity budget preparation
  • Support programmes team with logistics during activity implementation

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of practical experience with accounting practices and procedures, specifically general ledger activities and expense claim processing

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Strong analytical skills for account reconciliation and report preparation
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Outlook and SharePoint
