Engineer, Network Monitoring Centre (NMC) at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

Ensure that the Managed Service Provider's Network Monitoring Centre (NMC) duties are performed in accordance with Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators (SLA/KPIs) aligned with MTN Ghana business objectives. This role is responsible for monitoring and coordinating all network-related changes by ensuring implementation follows change control procedures with minimum customer impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the Vendor provides and documents Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reports on time and shares them with relevant stakeholders, following up on recommendations
• Confirm data integrity and ensure all reports from the Managed Service partner are accurate to inform decision making
• Monitor and ensure planned work is logged with all relevant data and planned tests are conducted after every work order per standards
• Correlate network changes and their impact on user departments
• Engage with internal and external teams on upcoming planned activities
• Issue agendas and minutes for Change Control Board meetings
• Ensure approval for implementation is communicated to requesters and monitor compliance with change management policy
• Escalate problems associated with Requests for Change (RFC) to line management
