About the Role

Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital is seeking a Director of Human Resource Management to provide strategic direction and oversight of all human resource functions within the organization. Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will be responsible for the comprehensive management of human resources, including policy development, implementation, and monitoring across the hospital.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction in the development and management of human resources at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital
• Lead policy development, analysis, and review in human resource management
• Advise and provide technical and administrative support to the Chief Executive in planning, recruitment, placement, development, and management of human resources
• Lead the development and maintenance of a comprehensive human resources database
• Prepare annual reports and other HR reports as required by the Chief Executive
• Monitor and evaluate HR activities and performance
• Prepare and manage the HR departmental budget
• Contribute to the development of medium and long-term strategic plans for the hospital
• Coordinate fellowship awards for hospital staff
• Lead the development of incentives and welfare packages for staff
• Develop guidelines and protocols on human resources management for the hospital

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Postgraduate qualification in Human Resource Management (Master's degree or equivalent)
• Membership in a recognized professional body
