## Title: Dean, School of Performing Arts

Position Overview

The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Dean, School of Performing Arts, College of Humanities. This full-time position will take effect from January 2026.

About the College of Humanities

The College of Humanities aims to advance the objectives of each of its constituent units through the following strategic objectives:

  • Create synergy for interdisciplinary teaching, learning and research in the Arts, Social Sciences, Business and Law
  • Provide faculty and students with skills in various fields to contribute to the development needs of the country
  • Establish and promote international networks in Arts, Social Sciences, Business and Law
  • Enhance the sharing of human, financial and material resources

School of Performing Arts

The School of Performing Arts comprises the following departments:

  • Department of Dance Studies
  • Department of Theatre Arts
  • Department of Music

Reporting Structure

The Dean reports to the Provost, College of Humanities.
