Position Overview

The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Dean, School of Graduate Studies, effective from 1st January 2026.

Reporting To: Pro Vice-Chancellor, Academic and Student Affairs

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall coordination and development of the University of Ghana's School of Graduate Studies (SGS)
• Ensure delivery of graduate programmes with excellence across all aspects of graduate training
• Supervise and coordinate the administration and operations of the SGS
• Manage and supervise employees working within the School
• Contribute to the development of University policy affecting postgraduate students
• Liaise with departments to ensure consistency in arrangements supporting postgraduate education throughout the University
