Position Overview

The Dean serves as the Head of the Faculty/School and reports to the Rector. You will provide strategic leadership to your faculty and maintain and promote efficiency and good governance in accordance with the University College's policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to faculty members
• Maintain and promote efficiency and good governance within the Faculty/School
• Develop and strengthen relationships between industry and the University College
• Attract grants and funds for research and development activities
• Manage crisis situations effectively

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Professional status or equivalent grade from an analogous institution
• Distinguished scholar with proven ability to motivate and direct staff
• High sense of industry, leadership qualities, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage and resolve crisis situations
• Visionary, business-oriented approach with ability to establish industry-university partnerships
• Sober judgment, maturity, and drive for fair and impartial decision-making
• Demonstrated capacity to attract research funding and grants
