Position Overview

Mountcrest University College (MCU), Kanda – Accra invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position:

• Dean, MountCrest Business School
• Dean, School of Graduate Studies
• Dean, Faculty of Laws

Responsibilities

The Dean serves as the Head of the Faculty/School and is responsible to the Rector for the following:

• Providing leadership to the faculty
• Maintaining and promoting the efficiency and good governance of the Faculty/School
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures established by the University College
• Attracting grants and funds for research and development activities
• Establishing and maintaining rapport between industry and the University College

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Professional status or equivalent grade in an analogous institution
• Distinguished scholar with capacity to motivate and direct staff
• High sense of industry, leadership qualities, and organizational skills with unimpeachable character
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Capacity to manage and control crisis situations
• Visionary and business-oriented mindset
• Maturity and drive for sound and impartial judgment
• Proven track record in attracting research grants and funding
