Position Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated professional to join CSIR-Water Research Institute as Factory Manager in Accra, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative strategies to streamline factory operations
• Screen and train new factory workers
• Collaborate with quality control and sales managers to establish and execute quality control processes
• Ensure that factory machinery is in good working order
• Analyze production data to identify and resolve any production issues
• Prepare production reports and submit them to key decision-makers
• Regularly inspect finished products to determine whether they meet established quality standards
• Motivate factory workers to continually achieve factory targets
• Deputize in the absence of General Manager to ensure efficient operation of the factory

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Food Processing Engineering, or a related field (certificate or degree in management is an added advantage)
• Minimum of 6 years of working experience in the water or food production sector
• Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a factory
• Sound knowledge of industry-specific factory equipment (beverage)
