Cure Blindness Project is a global organization dedicated to addressing avoidable blindness. For over 25 years, we have worked alongside collaborators to help people around the world retain and regain their sight by developing high-quality, cost-effective eye care systems in underserved areas.

Our impact includes:

• More than 1.4 million sight-restoring surgeries provided
• Over 14.5 million people screened for eye care
• 19,500+ eye health professionals trained
• 5 eye hospitals established
• Operations in more than 25 countries

Today, blindness remains a daily reality for more than 43 million people, with another 295 million suffering from moderate to severe vision impairment. 90% live in low-and middle-income communities with limited access to eye care. However, 80% of this blindness burden is treatable or preventable. Cure Blindness Project is expanding its team to meet new challenges, scale its work, and broaden its reach.
