Content Acquisition Manager at Wi-flix

About the Role

As a Content Acquisition Manager, you'll oversee the company's web and app content strategy from ideation to distribution. You'll demonstrate your ability to manage a team of creatives while balancing administrative tasks alongside editorial duties. In this role, you'll continuously identify opportunities to improve existing content and fill strategic content gaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage content acquisition, library, and playlist management
• Collaborate with content writing, graphic design, web development, and social media teams to plan, create, and distribute content
• Proofread and edit submissions according to brand guidelines
• Implement SEO best practices to ensure content ranks well and reaches target audiences
• Develop comprehensive content strategy across multiple platforms, including company website and social media channels
• Review analytics and search performance reports to assess content marketing success
• Assist with outreach and amplification initiatives to improve search engine ranking
• Perform regular content audits to ensure content is accurate, optimized, updated, and relevant to target audiences
• Create and maintain a streamlined content calendar to keep the team aligned
• Brainstorm new content ideas with the creative and marketing teams

• Experience with relevant tools and systems including MS Excel, data management, and key account management

• University-level education or equivalent working experience and thinking
