Position Overview
Peki College of Education seeks a qualified and dedicated College Librarian to lead the library services and advance the institution's teaching mission. The College Librarian is responsible for managing the library, research, and information needs of the College community. You will provide strategic leadership to enhance library operations and integrate emerging technology to support academic excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the professional and administrative head of the College Library
- Develop and implement the College Library strategic plan
- Establish and maintain efficient library operation procedures, policies, and systems
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate library personnel activities
- Collaborate with relevant institutional libraries and organizations to attract grants and adopt international best practices
- Serve as an active member of the Academic Board
Qualifications and Experience Required
- Master's Degree in Library Studies or related fields
- At least four (4) years of service as Deputy Librarian in a College of Education or similar institution
- Proficiency in library records management software
- Analytical, critical, and research-oriented mindset
- Strong leadership skills and professional integrity
- Ability to complete at least one four-year term before the mandatory retirement age of 60
