## Title: Finance & Administration Manager
Position Overview
The Chartered Institute of Taxation Ghana (CITG) is seeking a Finance & Administration Manager to lead financial operations and oversee administrative functions for the institute.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage the institute's budget, including budget planning, forecasting, and monitoring expenditure
- Oversee financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, payroll, financial reporting, and compliance with institute and public sector policies
- Conduct financial analysis and provide regular reports to the Registrar on the institute's financial performance
- Coordinate and collaborate with external auditors and accountants for financial audits, tax filings, and other financial matters
- Develop and implement effective financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets and ensure transparency and accountability
- Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely payment of invoices
- Lead the financial and accounting functions of the institute
- Supervise finance and accounting staff, provide guidance and support, and foster a positive and productive work environment
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective coordination and communication on finance and administrative matters
- Stay updated with the latest financial and administrative regulations, best practices, and technology trends to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- CITG membership preferred; Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance, or membership in a recognised professional accountancy body (e.g., ICA, ACCA, CPA, CMA) is an added advantage
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role, preferably within the tax industry or professional services sector
