Call for Projects – Strengthening the Commercial Capacities of Fair Trade Certified Cooperatives

About This Opportunity

As part of the Equity Programme 3, implemented by Fair Trade France (CEF) and Agronomists and Veterinarians Without Borders (AVSF), with financial support from the French Development Agency (AFD) and the French Global Environment Facility (FFEM), a call for projects is open to fair trade certified cooperatives in Ivory Coast, Ghana, Togo, and Benin.

Program Objective

This fund aims to strengthen the commercial capabilities of certified cooperatives by supporting their participation in professional events, commercial prospecting activities, and the promotion of their products on national and international markets.

Eligible Organizations

Eligible applicants are organizations involved in the following sectors with fair trade certification (Fairtrade, Fair for Life, WFTO, SPP, Biopartenaire):

• Cocoa
• Shea
• Fruit
• Cashew
• Sesame
• Handicrafts
• Any other sector with fair trade certification

Funding Details

Selected projects can benefit from funding of up to €10,000, intended to cover costs related to:

• Participation in trade fairs and exhibitions
• Travel and accommodation
• Production of communication materials

Application Deadline

Interested organizations must submit their application file, written according to the official template, no later than November 25, 2025.
