About the Organization

Bulisa Community Bank LTD, headquartered in Sandema in the Bulisa North Municipality of the Upper East Region, is seeking a qualified Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization.

Position Overview

The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for providing leadership, general supervision, management, and control of the bank's day-to-day operations in accordance with applicable laws, strategic and business plans, and policies and procedures approved by the Board.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance for the bank through coordination of departmental and agency activities
• Determine broad objectives and strategies for the bank's business
• Prepare and present technical papers to the Board in a timely manner to support effective decision-making
• Oversee the bank's credit activities to ensure efficient credit management and improved asset quality
• Ensure effective management of the bank's IT infrastructure and safeguard electronic data and information systems
• Execute responsibilities ensuring all general operations comply with lawful and ethical standards, bank policies and procedures, and relevant industry regulations
• Institute and maintain a robust system of internal controls to prevent and detect fraud, errors, and irregularities
• Manage the overall development and performance of the bank's human capital

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree and/or full professional qualification in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in a banking institution, with at least 5 years in managerial positions
