Branch Manager(Retail) at Sanlam Insurance

Job Purpose

Lead the retail insurance channel to deliver sustained market growth through exceptional customer experience. Enable individuals and families to achieve financial confidence and live with security.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute retail market growth strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Attract, train, support, and retain a engaged team of advisors
• Ensure delivery of productivity budgets in line with sales mix and key performance imperatives
• Build market pipelines, open new markets, and lead advisors to meet productivity targets
• Gather customer, industry, and stakeholder feedback to drive service improvements and better meet retail market segment needs
• Provide decisive entrepreneurial leadership to build and sustain a performance excellence culture aligned with Sanlam core values
• Perform additional duties as assigned by line management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Insurance from a recognized institution
• Degree or HND in Marketing, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field
• Master's Degree in Marketing, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field (advantageous)

Required Experience

• Minimum 4 years managerial experience in the financial services industry
• Proven track record leading successful sales teams
• Demonstrated commitment to high work and ethical standards
