Position Overview

Beacon International School is recruiting a Marketing and Strategic Projects Officer to lead brand development and strategic initiatives. This role combines creative marketing expertise with project management to enhance the school's visibility, partnerships, and overall institutional experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Improve Beacon School's branding and brand visibility through uniformity, recognizability, attractiveness, and effectiveness
• Increase awareness of Beacon School's strengths and offerings across social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and other digital media channels (television, radio)
• Lead a team to create digital and hardcopy marketing materials:
  • Digital: Blog posts, e-flyers, short videos
  • Print: Magazines, brochures, flyers, stickers
• Produce designs for billboards, souvenirs, and promotional materials
• Broker strategic partnerships that enrich Beacon School's offerings, including collaborations with preschools, other international schools, higher education institutions, and business corporations
• Research events, programmes, activities, and facility improvements to enhance the overall Beacon School experience
• Engage in outdoor marketing events
• Monitor Beacon School clubs and co-curricular programmes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized institution
• Prior experience in a similar marketing or communications role
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Essential writing and public speaking skills
• Strong research skills

Required Skills and Competencies

• Multimedia skills (photography, video shooting, and editing)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, desktop publishing software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and video editing tools
• Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and their conventions
• Organizational and communication skills
• Self-motivated and collaborative team player
• Passion for children's holistic development
• Practicing Christian
