About the Role

Twifu Rural Bank is seeking a qualified Assistant Risk & Compliance Officer to join our team. This full-time position is based in Twifu Praso, Ghana.

Job Summary

In this role, you will ensure that the Board of Directors, Management, and Employees of the bank comply with all regulations set by regulatory agencies and internal policies. You will work to ensure that business practices and behavior throughout the bank meet accepted industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls
• Assess and mitigate risk to tolerance levels defined by the bank
• Support the Board of Directors and Management in maintaining compliance standards

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of risk and control concepts
• Ability to apply risk and control concepts to evaluate business processes
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (preferred)
