## Title: Assistant ICT Officer

Job Purpose

To provide operational support for the management of Information Communication Technology functions of the Agency.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect data for the formulation of ICT policies
  • Undertake maintenance and repair of ICT infrastructure and equipment
  • Provide technical services for the management of information systems
  • Install ICT equipment and software
  • Collect data for the development of effective and efficient ICT security systems
  • Collect input for the procurement of ICT equipment and services
  • Provide effective user support services across the Agency
  • Collect data for the preparation of annual work and budget for the Unit
  • Collect data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information System (MIS), or any other relevant field from an accredited tertiary institution
  • Relevant industry skill-based certification(s) (added advantage)
  • Must have completed National Service
  • Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Agency in collaboration with the Public Services Commission

Required Competencies

  • Knowledge of laws relating to ICT
  • Monitoring skills
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good knowledge of ICT applications
