About the Organization
The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) is a pan-African policy institute based in Accra, Ghana. Established in 2008, ACET undertakes world-class research and analysis, provides advisory services to governments across the continent, and advocates for the economic transformation agenda. Economic transformation is at the heart of ACET's work, supporting African governments to design and implement transformative policy for long-term equitable growth. ACET works with leading development organizations including the World Bank, OECD, IMF, African Development Bank, and the African Union, as well as major foundations and bilateral development agencies.
Position Overview
The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) seeks a National Service Person to join our Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) unit. Working closely with the M&E team, you will provide support at both institutional and programmatic levels, assisting in data collection, analysis, and reporting on projects and programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the timely preparation of progress updates on project implementation
- Assist in the preparation and update of donor reports and other Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) documentation
- Undertake regular data collection against indicators to ensure results produced by programmes are accurately documented
- Participate in meetings, workshops, seminars, and other ACET events that may require documentation of MEL content
- Support internal coordination efforts with other implementing programmes
- Support the design and administration of data collection instruments
- Support data cleaning and analysis activities
