Analyst, Risk – Technical at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

The primary purpose of this role is to conduct detailed risk assessments and deep dives, analyses, and monitoring of remediation across all technology business units and areas. The position will be accountable for reporting to the business on risk management processes in line with Enterprise Risk strategy and best practices, offering specialized advice and recommendations where necessary.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments and analyses across technology business units in a diversifying telco-to-techno landscape
• Monitor remediation efforts across assigned divisions and business areas
• Liaise with divisional Governance champions to ensure coordinated approach to risk identification and management
• Provide inputs for facilitating Governance Committee Meetings
• Maintain and update Risk Dashboards for executive management
• Support facilitation of annual and biannual Business Impact Analysis within assigned divisions
• Perform gap analysis on current risk and issues in critical areas of the business
• Assist in conducting the organization's ERM, BCM, CRM, and IRM Maturity Assessments per Group's model
• Review and update IT and Network Group disaster recovery plans to ensure procedures for core critical systems remain current
• Assist in updating and reviewing Business Continuity plans while maintaining central oversight
• Support Business Continuity strategy formulation across business units and divisions in a coordinated manner
• Facilitate risk simulations and exercises at business unit level
