Analyst, Risk Management (Commercial) at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

We are seeking a Risk Management Analyst to conduct and evaluate detailed risks within the commercial business units. You will perform risk assessments and analyses, monitor remediation efforts, and report on risk management processes in line with the company's risk and compliance strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the established Enterprise Risk Management programme and methodology for assigned areas, within established Enterprise Risk Management standards, frameworks, and solutions in accordance with internal and industry benchmarks
• Conduct detailed risk assessments and deep dives across all commercial business units
• Proactively scan the environment and identify relevant risks faced by the commercial function (current and anticipated), prioritising risks based on material impact
• Work with Senior Management and other leaders within the business to mitigate identified risks effectively
• Facilitate identification of Key Risk Indicators and enable continuous tracking to support informed decision-making
• Serve as a business risk partner to ensure assigned business units take ownership of divisional risk identification and management
• Implement Continuous Control Monitoring (CCM) activities for proactive, regular, and automated monitoring of key controls
• Report to the business on risk management processes, procedures, and methodologies
• Provide specialized advice and recommendations to the organisation where necessary
• Track and articulate risks and issues to stakeholders

This position ensures that MTN Ghana's customers, reputation, assets, and stakeholder interests are safeguarded through effective risk management and control monitoring across commercial operations.
