About the Organization

Akrofi-Christaller Institute of Theology, Mission and Culture is a fully accredited postgraduate university by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission of the Ministry of Education.

Position Overview

The Advancement Unit promotes all activities of the Institute to develop relationships with friends, alumni, foundations, and corporate entities. The goal is to build support through networks, expertise, finances, and prayer to advance the Institute's vision and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote ACI's range of programmes effectively to targeted constituents, including churches, mission organizations, and other organizations and groups in Ghana, Africa, the Western world, and beyond
• Support the continuing development of an active and vibrant ACI Alumni Association
• Work with the Publicity Committee to publicize ACI locally and internationally and serve as the first point of contact for all public relations needs
• Work with the Fundraising Committee to initiate, plan, and organize fundraising events for ACI and regularly evaluate their effectiveness and efficiency

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Mature Christian with integrity and a sense of responsibility
• Ability to relate well with people and commitment to the Institute's vision, aims, and objectives
• Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain positive relationships with colleague staff members and superiors
• Competence in creating content and using the internet and social media tools for publicizing programmes and events
