About Our Africa Operations
Newmont's Africa Operations manages two gold mining operations in Ghana: the Ahafo Mine in the Brong-Ahafo region and the Akyem Mine in the Eastern region. We employ approximately 5,900 employees and contractors across our operations, with a focus on near-mine exploration and development to annually replace gold reserves. We also maintain early-stage exploration programs in Ethiopia and Morocco.
Our Akyem and Ahafo mines have made significant sustainable community development investments in host communities. Each mine contributes US$1 per ounce of gold sold and 1% of net pre-tax annual profit into its community development fund.
About This Role
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to the general administration and support functions. This role requires effectively managing administrative tasks and operations to ensure smooth and efficient workplace operations.
