Accounts Officer at Graphic Communications Group LTD

About the Role

Graphic Communications Group LTD is seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Accounts Officer for our Head Office in Accra. You will be responsible for collecting and analyzing financial data to ensure that correct payments are made promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process payment vouchers with complete and relevant supporting documentation
• Follow up with banks and resolve outstanding issues with electronic payments
• Reconcile receipts and payments in the Enterprise Business Suite (EBS)
• Monitor all bank accounts daily and maintain unidentified direct transfers schedule
• Liaise with Treasury to ensure receipts are issued for all identified bank and mobile money transfers
• Perform daily reconciliation of unreconciled receipts in EBS
• Assist in bank reconciliation for all accounts
• Analyze financial data and provide financial recommendations
• Ensure financial records comply with regulatory standards
• Assist in preparing quarterly financial reports for management and regulatory bodies
• Assist in preparing annual group budgets
• Monitor and evaluate budgets on a quarterly basis

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent with 2 years of post-qualification relevant experience, OR
• HND in Accounting from a recognized tertiary institution with a minimum of 3 years of work experience

• Excellent organizational skills
• Experience using Enterprise Business Suite (EBS) for transaction processing
• Ability to prepare ad hoc reports
• Team player with strong commitment and integrity
