Tools & Spare part Store Keeper

About the Role

BNT Industry and Trading PLC is seeking a Tools & Spare Parts Store Keeper to join our team in Addis Ababa. The Store Keeper is responsible for receiving, issuing, and properly maintaining raw materials in the warehouse. You will ensure stock accuracy, proper stacking, and cleanliness while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the warehouses in compliance with company SHE policy and Occupational Health and Safety requirements
• Verify that all goods movements are properly authorized and documented with zero tolerance for delays
• Inspect incoming stock for damages or shortages, prepare timely reports, and take responsibility for any unexplained discrepancies
• Compile and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time
• Record all stock movements accurately in company stock cards and computer systems (OTIF)
• Conduct daily cycle counts following defined procedures
• Manage stock returns and apply receiving/issuing protocols according to established procedures
• Issue tools and spare parts using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methodology
• Ensure all materials have appropriate bin cards with timely data recording after receipt or issuance
• Maintain proper stacking according to defined height standards for the operation
• Apply 5S principles to all warehouse operations
• Participate in process performance improvements using TPM tools
• Maintain continuity of operations during unexpected circumstances
• Check and close store doors and windows securely each morning
• Notify the Warehouse Team Leader immediately of any damaged or problematic items
• Maintain good working relationships with management and colleagues
• Comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and document control requirements

Work Environment

You will work in a warehouse setting in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, maintaining a safe and healthful work environment for all personnel through consistent support of company policies.
