Job Summary
The Tender and Sales Officer is responsible for identifying, preparing, and submitting tenders while actively supporting B2B sales activities. The role includes managing tender documentation, communicating with business clients, conducting outbound calls to potential customers, and maintaining long-term client relationships to drive company revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Tender Management
- Search and identify relevant tender opportunities from public and private sector sources
- Analyze tender documents, technical specifications, and requirements
- Prepare and compile complete tender submissions including technical and commercial proposals
- Coordinate with internal departments (technical, finance, logistics) to gather required documents
- Ensure all submissions meet deadlines and compliance standards
- Track tender results and maintain tender database records
- Follow up on submitted tenders and handle clarification requests
B2B Sales & Communication
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients
- Conduct professional communication via email, phone, and meetings
- Understand client needs and provide suitable product and service solutions
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and pricing offers
- Negotiate terms and close B2B sales deals
- Maintain CRM records of all interactions and opportunities
Phone Outreach & Lead Generation
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers to introduce company services and products
- Identify decision-makers within target companies
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings
- Follow up on previous inquiries and dormant accounts
- Handle inbound sales calls professionally and convert inquiries into opportunities
