Superintendent High Security Areas

Position Overview

Kurmuk Gold Mine PLC is recruiting a Superintendent for High Security Areas (HSA) to direct security operations across critical infrastructure and high-value assets. This role requires significant experience in protecting personnel, enforcing compliance, managing risks, and coordinating with emergency response teams in sensitive areas including explosive magazines, gold processing plants, and gold product loading zones.

Location & Employment Details

• Duty Station: Benishangul-Gumuz Region, Asosa Zone, Kurmuk Woreda – Project Site
• Roster: Fly-In/Fly-Out (6 weeks on / 2 weeks off)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Site-Based

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security operations using CCTV, electronic checkpoints, and biometric scanners to detect potential threats
• Lead internal investigations into security breaches, theft, and misconduct; oversee intelligence reporting
• Oversee security patrols, access points, and security service providers in designated areas
• Conduct regular, documented security audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with safety and security standards
• Develop and implement security procedures, tactical plans, and emergency response protocols
• Liaise with law enforcement and internal departments (mining, HR) to address security threats and manage employee relations in high-risk areas
• Compile accurate investigation reports for senior management and relevant regulatory bodies
